Magic The Gathering Software

So you're looking for some Magic The Gathering Software? Not a problem at all. I've compiled a big list of Magic The Gathering programs that you can use to manage your decks, cards, or play magic online. Hope you enjoy the site!

Magic Workstation: Magic Workstation is a program that was created and developed by Magi-Soft that allows you to play Magic: The Gathering with your friends over the internet. It's not the official one made by Wizards, but it's free. You start with a base set of cards in your aresenal, so everybody has fair play. It's a way to hone your strategy on an open playing field!

Magic: The Gathering: This was a computer game that was developed and published by MicroProse in April 1997. It takes place in Shandalar. You, as a planeswalker go through enemies in order to get cards and add them to your repetoire. Pretty fun game. Graphics are like 1997, but then again, Magic The Gathering Software has never been about graphics.

Magic The Gathering Battlegrounds: Battlegrounds is an RTS game based upon Magic: The Gathering but it has a lot of differences from the original game. You create heros and mages that summon monsters as opposed to doing it yourself. You gain more and more spells as the game progresses so it's a pretty good reward system.

Magic The Gathering Duel Of The Planeswalkers: This is a game that's currently being developed for Xbox Live Arcade, Windows and Mac. It's expected for release in Spring 2009 and was announced earlier this year. There is a lot of hype surrounding this game. Check back later for more updates on when the release is happening, and how you can get ahold of a free copy (my secret for now).

Magic The Gathering Online: MTGO as it's named, is currently the most popular online Magic The Gathering Software, but also the most expensive. It comes to you directly from Wizards of the Coast, and allows you to buy virtual cards as opposed to going out to your local card store. It's played with an internet connection and behaves just like the card game. I currently play this one (check it out!)

Magic The Gathering Apprentice: Apprentice is Magic The Gathering Software that assists you when playing the magic real life card game. It will allow you to keep a library of your cards, make decks and test the statistics on your computer. All tournament players need this software. It helps sooo much in preparation, and cuts down on time.

If you like the site and value the information, please help me support it. Best wishes and go win some Magic matches! =)
